Hmm. Replies are working for me.

Is there a specific thread for which replies aren't working?

What exactly is happening when trying to post replies?

There's also this new forum which has active admins, updated boards, and a banner graphic that includes Lisa Lambe and onwards...

I'm kind of anxious that it isn't happening...

Replies work fine for me and to answer your post cant contact admin Aislin AKA Lindsey has been missing in action for over 18 months and she is the only admin. This is why I built a new Celticwomanforum.net it's all up to date and has active admins plus has a chat system so you can chat like facebook style on the forum

Thank You Glen, so is that why forum.net was created!?
It works sometimes this forum but long answers or when I copy and paste it doesn't go through. I was thinking if it has to do with my phone & if I use my Mac it would work.

That's great the 2nd option forum but not all the up to date active members are on it and i guess they can reply to me on this one & I can put replies on the other :S

rfcw is moving or coming to slow stop here at celticwomanforum.com guys!

Interesting here it works wonder why some boards work and some do not...  :D

If you're getting a database error when trying to post text that's been pasted, it's possible there is an unsupported character (usually Unicode) in the message. Sometimes when that happens, I can paste my text into a plain text editor (like Windows notepad) to help remove the unsupported characters. For example, if I try to save a file in notepad that has Unicode characters, it gives me a warning. I can then test individual parts of the message and progressively narrow down where the Unicode characters are, because it's not always easy to distinguish them from regular characters.

That's really the only issue I have encountered when trying to reply to a message, when there's some unsupported character or sequence in the text that the database doesn't like.

I can`t update my profile to change from an obsolete email address to a new one because the site says my password is incorrect...it isn`t ....it`s the one I`ve used in the past.

im thinking that some of the problems with this Forum is the size of the data base it has to be Hugh and I know SMF forum isn't built to be this big just the games board is almost 720000 posts. and with no admin one of these days the forum will crash and then there will be none That's why I built the new one

I didn't realize that this forum was having problems. Are there still moderators who use this forum still? I know that this site has been used less than it has been in the past, but I didn't know a reason why. Should I switch to the other forum or use it in addition to this one? I've had issues where I would have to keep changing my password in the past, but it hasn't happened in a while.

The admins / moderators haven't made their presence felt in a couple of years. So far, this place is still running. Maybe there's still maintenance being done behind the scenes to keep it operating, but we're not really sure. The new forum is actively administered and has an updated banner and boards.
