Ha. Central SC gets the period of okay 40s and 50s for a few months, 70s for about a week, then 90s plus for oh, 4-5 months or so. Spring is very short here, and fall is just strange.

Yes, I know as I spent 15 months at Fort Jackson.  On the day I was allowed to leave, I signed out at 12:01 am. Smiley

It sounds nice there....of course this is from someone that lives in an area where the weather is either horrific or unmercifully horrific....4 nor`easters with wind and snow in 2 weeks.

Haha. The relative humidity tends to be really high too. When you have the heat index in the 110s for weeks straight it gets pretty nasty. That's normal August weather here without a heat wave. I put up with the gross heat and high humidity so I don't have to deal with real winters!

OK, I heard it's time for Spring Break -- go to I-95 and follow those signs that say SOUTH until it gets warm enough for you. Wink

Or, you could move to Phoenix, where I lived for a few years and saw 124 F. and many days in the 115-120 range, or to Brawley, Cal., where I saw 128 F.  (Not a fun day.)

that actually sounds nice right about now.....daily temps are 15 degrees below normal....snow starting late morning tomorrow...our regularly scheduled weekly nor`easter...4-8 inches of snow. But we have the most hidiousely vile horrid stinking atroshiousely miserable weather on earth because it`s New England and it`s SUPPOSED to be that way.

TV weatherlady says we had 0.88 inches of rain for the last 24 hours.  A few minutes ago, it started raining hard again.  Our mountains are getting more snow.

We had a few hail storms and thunder, etc., today.  The ground got very white a couple times, then the power went out -- I heard a tree was blown down on some major power lines and half the town went dark.  Power is back on now. Wink

In my town, we lose the power if it`s partly cloudy......I have a person from my heating company coming over Monday morning to give me an estimate on a propane generator.

Dear Weather,

I expect you to be on your very best behavior for Celtic Woman next week while they're here. No funny-businesses like snow, high winds, or extreme cold, please. Promise me.

Another storm coming through today with more rain and winds to 75 mph.  Temps are in the 40s and 50s, so no snow here. Wink

I'm likely going to disappear in a couple of days for a while due to Hurricane Florence.

The weather in Ireland has been surprisingly good. Only really 1-2 days of drizzling since I got here.

Weather might get interesting tonight but it's been pretty boring so far.
