The weather in Ireland has been surprisingly good. Only really 1-2 days of drizzling since I got here.

Guess I forgot to update this.

About 1.5 total days of rain (and it was mostly a drizzle or very light rain) during the day while I was there.

I flew back just before the big storm hit the week after the DVD recordings.

Getting COLD.....below freezing tonight....but my neighbor`s daughter is STILL wearing shorts and tee-shirt. Apparently Kazackhs don`t feel the cold.

Rain just started here -- first rain in a while.  I guess fall is officially here.  Temps in low 50s.  This should help kill the remaining forest fires and clean the smoke from the air.
One fire about 100 miles south of me is over 160 thousand acres.  We had some smoke from it here.

Another serious storm has started here -- winds possibly to 70mph tonight and several inches of rain over the next few days, then more storms to follow this week and next.
Lots of snow in the mountains.  Looks like a "wet Christmas" here.

"Bomb Cyclone"  due here tomorrow.  Rainy today -- heavy at times.  Snow level dropping to 1100 ft. in our mountains east of me.  Mountains west of me are in Hawaii.
Very high tides this week, too.  (I'm on high ground, but only a mile from the beach.)

Update: Tuesday @ 1:30 pm PST -- just saw a satellite photo of the cyclone -- the eye is directly west of me.  We've had steady rain all day and gusty winds.  Rockies and Midwest get ready. This is a SERIOUS storm.
